Five Ways to Build a Thick Skin

1. Get Used to Being Rejected

Rejection is a part of life. If you are afraid of failure, you would never get to anywhere. Write the article you want to write. Submit that manuscript. Upload that video.

2. Judgment is a Good Sign

Being judged means people pay attention to your works. They have at least read (a part of) your article or watched (a part of) your video in order to judge you.

3. Laugh at Yourself First

You might not be the most articulate or the most well-read person, but you, like everyone else, have a voice and a unique story.

4. Don’t Take Life or Yourself Too Seriously

Don’t wait anymore. If you don’t start working on your draft now, the next thing you know you’d start losing teeth.

5. Try again

Pat yourself on the back for doing all of the above. Remember, you are not failed but pre-successful! (Jason Mendoza From The Good Place)
